No Appraisals Needed

Fannie Mae is now allowing select purchase transactions to close without an appraisal. If the Buyer puts at least 20% down, the property may receive a Property Inspection Waiver (PIW), when the loan application is run through the automated underwriting software – which means the appraisal is not required!
